Christmas 2011

What a wonderful Christmas we have had. I love spending time with my family - Thank you Ash, Brent and Emily for making your Memaw's Christmas what it is. What a blessing we have this year , our wonderful little Jackson - God is so good to our family in blessing us with such a wonderful grandson - yes I said grandson because that is what he is - my own special to take care of until God sees fit to bless us with more or to take us home . I will love and spoil him no different than Ash and "M"--Thank you Brent for putting up with this old Memaw- You know how special Ashley and Emily are to me - they are what has kept me going all these years.--- Here are a few pictures of Christmas -- Hurry up this weekend so we can see all of you again

Shopping for Jackson

Ashley came up today and we went to Robins Nest , to look at baby clothes for little Jackson.
We created her table of wish items for Jackson. They have such cute things for babies. I found plenty of things for little boys. Ash had to to tell me not to want every cute suit - They are just as cute as little girls clothes. I learn fast on buying for little boys. We had so much fun in that store. We were also able get material for curtains and his bench pad that Papaw is building for baby.That fabric store has everyt hing you need for any project. I had such a great day with Ashley looking at things for Jackson. We sure missed "M" - she is in Atlanta at a Braves ballgame.

Snow? how deep

Will it snow? big question - from my side I'm looking for lots of snow _ I love snow - as long as we can keep warm and dry - No I have not been to grocery store for milk and eggs - I would not cook them unless girls and Brent were here to help Papaw eat them - I will make some soup of some kind - Bill is getting prepared for the snow - gettings latern ready in case power goes off - he has his small truck - ready with sand in back and mud tires of rear so we can ride in snow - yes I'm a little crazy when it snows . I like to get out in snow but not ice - Life would be perfect if Brend and ASh and Charlie and "M" were here to play in snow . Looks like B'ham may get more snow than North Alabama - maybe we need to go stay with Ash. (just kidding Ash)-
As for th Howell household we have been ok had wonderful holidays - always love to have family with us- On another things I am so thankful to have "M" back in Auburn after her trip - I think this is only the beginning of mission trips - Maybe after tomorrow I will be able to post pictures of snow (with my new camera) . B etter run for now and go grocery chopping - hope later we can blog about lots of snow
